The Holy Family Hospital of Bethlehem Foundation

The Holy Family Hospital of Bethlehem Foundation is an established 501(c)(3) foundation registered and maintained in the United States. The Foundation is managed by a Board of Directors that are comprised of American members of the Sovereign Military Order of Malta, lay men and women. Two members of its board also serve on the hospital’s board. The Board adheres to Bylaws in which they do not receive compensation for their time or skills.

The Foundation was organized in 1997, exclusively to generate and distribute funds for the operating expenses of Holy Family Hospital. It is through the generosity of others that we can care for the poor women and infants of the West Bank.

As a result of the expanded services to meet the evolving health needs of the region, the hospital budget has grown from under $1 million to $3.7 million annually. Patient payments produce income of $2.1 million and the remaining $1.6 million comes from generous donors around the World.

Donations are tax deductible according to current IRS guidelines.
