Involve Your Church
In order to meet the growing needs of the poorest and most defenseless, the Board of Directors of the Foundation established a program to foster and develop relationships with churches that would result in financial contributions to Holy Family Hospital.
Churches can make a significant impact by:
- Making a financial donation from established church funds.
- Sponsoring an event benefiting Holy Family Hospital of Bethlehem Foundation.
- Performing a second collection during services on one designated weekend.
- Getting involved in our Angel Tree program.
- Involving the church school in raising money for Holy Family Hospital through our Babies in Bethlehem Advent program.
- Host a speaker from the Foundation to share the Good News and updates about the Hospital and life in Bethlehem.
The success of the Church Outreach Program involves our supporters who approach their pastors to participate in this critical endeavor. We hope your church will support the work of Holy Family Hospital, and help ensure quality care to all who come through its doors.

Involve Your School
Thank you for your interest in learning about opportunities for engagement with Holy Family Hospital of Bethlehem Foundation in a church-school outreach partnership. The Foundation could support a church and/or school-wide project this Advent season in preparation for the coming of Christ, or at one of many other times during the Liturgical calendar.
Our Foundation team would be pleased to work with you to create an outreach program with your community of students and parishioners.
Advent is such a special time and, while Bethlehem may seem far away, like the circumstances faced by Mary, Joseph, and Jesus, Holy Family Hospital serves as a haven for thousands of poor and at-risk mothers, babies, and families there today. We appreciate the prayers and support of families throughout your Church community in helping our Foundation to deliver life, peace, and hope to the sick and the poor in the Holy Land through our Hospital – just steps from the place where Christ was born and lived.
Please email our Foundation team with any questions you may have.

Babies in Bethlehem
Babies in Bethlehem is a faith-in-action project for churches nationwide. The program brings the Nativity Story to life for parishioners of all ages, in support of the thousands of poor and at-risk mothers, babies, and families served by Holy Family Hospital in Bethlehem.
Project Components:
- Curriculum Enrichment: Lesson materials and discussion guides enhance curricula in religion, history, and current events, and deepen students’ understanding of what it means to prepare for Christ throughout Advent. Materials can be found in the Advent Toolkit.
- Bethlehem Boxes: Students put their faith into action as they participate in a unique opportunity for Advent almsgiving through the collection of donations in their own Bethlehem Box. Donations will be used to support Holy Family Hospital in Bethlehem.
- Student Reflections: Students engage parishioners throughout the Sundays in Advent by speaking at Masses about Holy Family Hospital and its life-affirming ministry in the Holy Land. Sample talking points for students are included in the Advent Toolkit.
- Church Collections: Parishioners of all ages participate in parish-designated second collections and/or Poor Box collections during the four Sundays of Advent, reaffirming the importance of sharing in the preparation for Christ’s birth as a greater church community.
- Community Building: Babies in Bethlehem creates opportunities for prayerful reflection and preparation for the coming of the Christ Child, and fosters a greater understanding of the universality of the Catholic Church.
Program Materials:
All program materials can be found here. Our toolkit is an easy to use resource for educators and administrators during the Advent season.
