Bringing Care Directly to Families in Bethlehem
Since 1995, Holy Family Hospital’s Mobile Outreach Clinic has brought essential medical care directly to people who otherwise have no access to medical services. Traveling to remote villages and isolated Bedouin communities, the Mobile Outreach Clinic serves families who face barriers to consistent care.
The Mobile Outreach Clinic runs daily and has an OB/GYN, a pediatrician, a nurse, and a driver. Together, the team provides a range of services, including:
- Prenatal exams and postnatal checkups
- Lab tests and cancer screenings
- Pediatric care for infants and young children
- Referrals for children with severe illness or developmental disabilities
- Gynecological care for women of all ages
At times, a second OB/GYN joins the team to expand women’s health services. Each year, the Mobile Outreach Clinic provides more than 5,000 consultations.
